Jazz reportedly waive David Stockton, son of John Stockton

It looks like there won’t be two legendary Stocktons in Utah Jazz lore. David Stockton, the son of legendary Jazz point guard John Stockton, was waived by the team on Tuesday.

Stockton was signed by the Jazz last season during their playoff run. He appeared in three games, averaging 3.3 points per game.

Previously, he starred in the G League, playing for the Reno Big Horns while averaging 16.3 points and 5.2 assists per game.

Stockton previously played for the Sacramento Kings back in 2015 and spent four years at Gonzaga, from 2010-14.
