Isaiah Thomas still doesn’t like the city of Cleveland

New Denver Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas played a grand total of 15 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season. This came after he was dealt by the Boston Celtics in the Kyrie Irving trade.

Needless to say, things didn’t go too swimmingly for Thomas in Cleveland. Prior to being shipped off to the Los Angeles Lakers in February, he averaged just 14.7 points per game.

It now looks like one of the issues with Thomas was the city of Cleveland itself. In a recent video, Thomas orated his displeasure with the city he called home for just a few months.

“Sac, Los Angeles and Boston were all love,” Thomas said (h/t Bleacher Report). “Phoenix was cool…Cleveland was a s**thole. I see why Bron (LeBron James) left. Again.”

Tell us how you really feel, IT.

It’s somewhat odd that Thomas would go out of his way to call out the city of Cleveland. Then again, he might not have been 100 percent sober at the time of the video.

Either way, we know Thomas won’t be having a reunion with his former team any time soon. The veteran signed a veteran minimum deal with Denver this summer after dealing with an injury-plagued 2017-18 campaign. His return to Ohio on November 1st should be a blast.
