Cleveland Browns OL coach Bob Wylie owns episode of ‘Hard Knocks’

While the third episode of this year’s season of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” prominently featured people like Baker Mayfield, Dez Bryant, Josh Gordon, and even Brad Paisley, it belonged to Cleveland Browns offensive line coach Bob Wylie.

Wylie was calling out snap counts while running drills with his linemen. As he was doing this, his gut moved in perfect synchronization with the snap count.

It only got better.

While Cleveland’s players were stretching, Wylie made his feelings on the practice known. His rant, which contains adult language, can be seen here. Let’s just say that he doesn’t care for stretching.

“Stretch is way overrated. Did you know, WWI, WWII, all those guys that fought in that war? They did push-ups, jumping jacks, sit-ups, climbed, and ran. But none of this fancy s***. And they won two world wars. Two world wars with jumping jacks, push-ups, and sit-ups. Two world wars. You think they were worried, when they were running across Normandy, about f****** stretching? Are you kidding me?”

Wylie was not done stealing the show.

Later in the episode, he pulled up to the team’s hotel prior to its second preseason game. But he didn’t pull up in some regular car. No, Wylie rolled in while driving a Maserati. After parking his car, Wylie invoked a classic movie, telling the valet, “No Ferris Bueller s***.”

That’s just art, right there.

We can’t wait to see what Wylie has to offer over the season’s final two episodes. In fact, we really hope that some network gives Wylie his own reality show. The good this man would do for the world can’t just be limited to parts of a one-hour show that runs for only five weeks.
