Aqib Talib says beef with Michael Crabtree is ‘dead’

The joint practices between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Rams gave Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib a chance continue their old beef. But it didn’t happen.

In fact, after two days of practices, Talib said plainly that the feud was “dead.”

As members of the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos, Crabtree and Talib had on-field issues in each of the last two seasons (which you can see here and here). Each incident was centered around, of all things, Crabtree’s chain.

The Ravens and Rams play on Thursday in a preseason game. If they both suit up, it will be interesting to see if the beef is indeed dead. Baltimore and Los Angeles will not play in the regular season this year.

If this feud really is dead, what a strangely bizarre one it was.
