Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving play on opposite coasts. Their two teams might very well meet up in next year’s NBA Finals. After that, both stars will hit free agency.
Speculation has come up that Irving himself wants to play for the New York Knicks. Previous reports also suggested that we shouldn’t count the Knicks out as a potential landing spot for Durant.
If this video captured by TMZ Sports is any indication, rumors of the two teaming up in the Big Apple are not going to die down.
Yes, that’s Irving and Durant hanging out at Wet Republic in Las Vegas this past weekend. If you haven’t been to this establishment, change that on your next trip to the desert. But we digress.
Do we really read anything into this? Probably not. Durant is known to be a party boy. The two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP of the Golden State Warriors taking shots while enjoying his summer in Vegas isn’t really news. Hanging out with Mr. Irving? Well, that’s a different story.
Irving’s girlfriend, Chantel Jeffries, was the DJ for this exclusive event. Meanwhile, Durant was seen hanging out with model Jocelyn Chew. That could very well start another round of rumors. But we’ll leave it alone.
