If the Colorado Rockies want to remain in the playoff hunt, they will need to upgrade their bullpen. Now they are reportedly close to addressing that need with a late-inning reliever.
According to Jon Morosi of MLB.com, Toronto and Colorado are closing in on a deal that would send right-handed reliever Seung-Hwan Oh to the Colorado Rockies.

Oh would provide Colorado with a steady arm in an extremely shaky bullpen. The Rockies entered Wednesday with the second-highest ERA (5.29) in the majors. Now if they add Oh, they’ll be landing a player who has a 2.68 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 55 strikeouts in 47 innings this season.
The 35-year-old signed a one-year contract with Toronto this season for $1.75 million. His contract contains a $2.5 million club option for the 2019 season. According to Fox Sports, the second year of his deal would become guaranteed if he pitches 70-plus innings.
The deal is not yet official and the return to the Blue Jays is not known at this time. Toronto was expected to be an active seller before the trade deadline and this could be just the beginning for the organization.
