Serena Williams will have royalty on her side next week at some point when newly minted Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is set to cheer her on at Wimbledon.

Entertainment Tonight broke this story Tuesday in an exclusive report.

“A royal source tells ET that Markle — who was Serena Williams’ guest in the players box at Wimbledon in 2016 before her first date with Prince Harry — is due back to cheer on her friend at this year’s tournament, most likely sometime next week.”

For her part, Williams recently said, “I don’t know,” if Markle would be coming to watch her, adding, “We’ll see. If I keep winning.”

Williams, who attended the royal wedding back in May, has already advanced into the second round at this year’s Wimbledon tournament, having beaten Arantxa Rus in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3, on Monday.

She’s been rounding into form following the birth of her first child.

She made waves with her fashion sense at the French Open and made it to the quarterfinals at Roland Garros before being dispatched by longtime rival Maria Sharapova.
