It’s a good news/bad news situation for Sacramento Kings rookie Marvin Bagley III, who was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft.
The good news is that Bagley is not seriously injured. The bad news is that he’ll miss some time.
The Kings announced Monday that an MRI conducted in the morning revealed a pelvic bone bruise that will keep Bagley out of the remainder of summer league and require 1-2 weeks of rest.

Bagley was injured in his summer league debut on Sunday. He scored 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds in 32 minutes against the Phoenix Suns before exiting the game with the injury.
