The Buffalo Bills were rocked with allegations against star running back LeSean McCoy earlier this summer that included him allegedly being involved in a violent incident with his ex-girlfriend.
While no charges have been levied against McCoy, the situation remains under investigation by authorities. If it’s proven he was involved, it will almost certainly be the end of the running back’s career.
Despite all of this and with everything unsettled from a legal standpoint, McCoy will report to Bills training camp with the rest of his team on Wednesday.
#Bills RB LeSean McCoy is reporting to the #Bills training camp with the rest of the veterans on Wednesday, sources tell @MikeGarafolo and me. Unless his status changes with the league — it hasn’t — the team is expected to treat him like any other player.

It’s not necessarily that big of a surprise. Having not been charged with a crime, there’s no real reason to keep McCoy away from camp. And while the PR optics might not be great, he’s among the most valuable players in the NFL.
A six-time Pro Bowler, McCoy is coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him put up 1,586 total yards and eight touchdowns. With the Bills’ quarterback situation unsettled, they will be relying on him a great deal this coming season.
