Jets announce big news… with an elaborate crossword puzzle?

The New York Jets made a rather big announcement Sunday, but fans had to do some work to figure out what the message was.

Using their Twitter account, the Jets sent out the following message.

But what does it all mean?

Plenty of fans did take the time to do this crossword puzzle and come up with the message. When you solve the puzzle, it spells out, “NEW UNIFORMS ARE COMING NEXT YEAR.”

That’s a pretty big deal. The last time the Jets had a uniform change came back in the last century, in 1998, to be precise.

Though, some other Jets fans were focused on something else that’s been brewing within the organization and isn’t necessarily such a positive deal.

Hint: it rhymes with Dam Shmarnold.
