The Oakland Raiders have two more seasons of football remaining in California before ultimately relocating to the desert metropolis that is Las Vegas.
For Raiders fans in The Golden State, it’s a bitter ending to what has been a long relationship. Almost literally, music icon and the best-known Raiders fan in the world, Ice Cube, agrees.
” I just think of the Raiders. They just a bad girl that you can’t hold down,” Cube said on 95.7 The Game in the Bay Area. That’s certainly one way to look at it.
The legendary Cube is in Northern California as his BIG3 basketball league takes to the court at Oracle Arena in Oakland this week.
Known more for being a Los Angeles Raiders fan prior to their move back to Oakland decades ago, we can fully expect Cube to be a fixture in Las Vegas when the Raiders relocate there in 2020.
Whether that “bad girl” he can’t “hold down” joins him remains to be seen.
