Ezekiel Elliott to headline second annual Fantasy Football Convention

Not only is Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott a top-tier pick in early fantasy football drafts, he will be hosting Tony Romo’s second annual National Fantasy Football Convention.

Even more notable is that Elliott is now a part owner of this operation. So, he will be on hand not only as one of the reported 200 players at the convention, but as a business partner.

Per the report, Romo will not be present for this year’s convention. This is a convention that had only 50 player participants attend last year. Now that count has skyrocketed.

Romo and Elliott’s partner Andy Alberth, who serves as executive director of the fantasy football convention, had this to share about the event.

“The players are excited. The fans are excited. It’s Disneyland for fans of all ages, Alberth said, per Clarence E. Hill Jr. of Star Telegram. You can buy a ticket to a football game, leave and never meet a player. Here you can do so much more. You can reach out and touch players. There is no better way for fans to interact and engage with their favorite players.”

This convention takes place this upcoming Saturday and Sunday in the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

Joining Elliott as far as running backs go will be Todd Gurley, Kareem Hunt and Melvin Gordon, according to the attendance list.

This looks to be a fun-filled fabulous weekend for those fortunate enough to be able to attend.
