The Oakland Athletics will make history on Saturday night. When they face off against the San Francisco Giants in Oakland, the club projects it to be the largest crowd at an A’s game in Oakland Coliseum history.

Fans in the Bay Area will be filing into the stadium in the tens of thousands for Saturday’s matchup in the Bay Bridge Series. The Athletics already announced they are sold out for a stadium with a seating capacity of over 55,000.

It is expected to be the largest single-game crowd in baseball this season, a major accomplishment given the Athletics previously had to put tarps over large sections of the stadium seating.

The Oakland Coliseum will be rocking on Saturday night with a rivalry game that should have the stadium shaking with both Giants and Athletics fans. Even if fans can only watch on television, the atmosphere should feel outstanding.
