WATCH: Twins’ Taylor Motter crashes hard into outfield wall

For every incredible catch at the wall we awe at, there are even more collisions that leave us grimacing. On Thursday, Minnesota Twins outfielder crashed into the wall in an ugly collision that left him down for several minutes.

In the sixth inning a deep fly ball to right-center field, Motter sprinted after it while trying to keep an eye on the wall. He then reached up to try and grab it on the run, instead his glove was empty and he collided with the metal fence.

According to Dan Hayes of The Athletic, Motter remained on the ground for several minutes and was checked out by multiple trainers. Fortunately, the 28-year-old was able to remain in the game.

Given how violent the collision looked, it’s quite remarkable he was able to remain in the game.
