During Wednesday’s Washington Nationals game against the Tampa Bay Rays, Bryce Harper smashed a ball that should have resulted in a stand-up double.
Unfortunately for Bryce, his helmet came off his head after he rounded first, and then it hilariously tripped him up en route to second.

Ultimately, Harper got to the bag just ahead of the tag and was safe. And fortunately, he was not injured on this play.
Because of that, we have no problem laughing at Harper for nearly getting taken out by his own helmet.
