Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ‘feels fine’ after injury scare Wednesday

On Wednesday, star Minor Leaguer Vladimir Guerrero of the the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats had a bit of an scare, leaving the game after suffering a lower-body injury.

Thankfully, after Wednesday’s game, manager John Schneider had a promising update on his young star.

Guerrero has been tearing it up at the plate this year, batting .401 with 11 home runs and 55 RBI. The son of soon-to-be Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero, he’s likely going to get called up to the majors soon enough. The Toronto Blue Jays have already discussed moving him up to Triple-A within the next month.
