Twitter reacts to Warriors dismantling Cavaliers in sweep

The Golden State Warriors took home the 2018 NBA Finals and dismantled the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-85 in what might have been LeBron James final game with Cleveland.

In a game that became a pure battle for the rights to the Finals MVP award between Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, it was the 30-year-old point guard who made the difference and sealed his third championship.

Curry scored 37 points and made seven three-pointers in the win on Friday night. Durant finished second on the team in scoring and recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.

Golden State once again went on a run in the third quarter and outscored the Cavaliers 25-13 to give the Warriors a 21-point lead as they headed into the fourth quarter. It proved to be far too much for Cleveland to overcome in the 23-point blowout loss.

Twitter reacts to the Warriors sweeping the Cavaliers in a resounding Game 4 win in Cleveland to earn back-to-back championships.
