Potential NBA rookie of the Year Donovan Mitchell will soon have a new running mate with the Utah Jazz (dun, dun, dun). It comes in the form of former Duke standout Grayson Allen, who Utah selected with the 21st pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft.
With a checkered history that’s already well known, Allen had been getting a lot of play as a potential first-round pick. Now that this has happened, Twitter was all over it. Obviously, Allen’s likeness to Ted Cruz was much talked about.
