NBA players already recruiting LeBron James after Finals sweep

Philadelphia 76ers rumors: What's next after Al Horford trade?

LeBron James had not even made it off the court inside Quickens Loans Arena in Cleveland as his Cavaliers were being swept by the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals before players on other teams were already recruiting the impending free agent.

Obviously, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was among the first players to openly call on James to join his team on Twitter.

San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray quickly followed suit.

Lost in the fact that Golden State earned its third title in four years and back-to-back championships Friday evening in Cleveland, James might have very well just played his final game with the Cavaliers. As he was exiting the court Cavs fans showered the three-time champ with MVP champs and a standing ovation (watch here).

Loved by fans in Ohio, James could very well be taking his talents elsewhere here soon. There’s going to be no real limit in the number of teams interested in James.

For what it’s worth, both Embiid’s Sixers and Murray’s Spurs are among those squads who stand a chance to land James in free agency.

Let the fun begin.
