Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones has not taken part in any of the team’s voluntary workouts this offseason. The star pass catcher wants a new deal. He’s not making any bones about it.
Whether this means Jones will be absent from mandatory minicamp later in June or a holdout during training camp remains to be seen.
Fully aware of the situation with their division rivals, the Carolina Panthers used this photo of quarterback Cam Newton hanging out with Jones to troll Atlanta in the best possible way.

This might not be on the level of the 28-3 troll job the Falcons received from those around the internet after blowing Super Bowl LI against the Patriots back in 2017, but it’s darn close.
No, this doesn’t mean that the Panthers are going to call Atlanta up about trading for Jones. That would be met with a quick hang up. It’s still rather awesome stuff.
