Delanie Walker would ‘most definitely’ welcome Dez Bryant to Titans

Dez Bryant still doesn’t have a job after being released by the Dallas Cowboys in March, but that probably won’t last long once training camps open this summer.

Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker definitely wouldn’t mind if this team is the one Bryant ends up signing with for the coming season.

Speaking about Bryant during Michael Crabtree’s football camp in Dallas, Walker said he doesn’t understand why Bryant isn’t yet signed. He also said he doesn’t expect him to remain unsigned over the summer.

When asked if he’d be open to Bryant potentially joining Tennessee’s roster, he replied, “Most definitely,” per SportsDay.

“Even though I know we’ve got some good premier receivers on our team, Corey Davis, Rishard Matthews. It’s another element if they was to bring him to the team. If he can help us out, gladly I would welcome him with open arms.”

Walker also said he believes Bryant can still play at a high level, noting that some years are just a struggle.

Bryant reportedly turned down a three-year, $21 million offer from the Baltimore Ravens earlier this offseason. Since then, he’s barely gotten a sniff from other NFL teams.

The Ravens are said to be still open to signing him, and other teams are likely just playing a waiting game. It’s going to be interesting to see how things shake out later this summer as injuries pile up around the league.
