Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown didn’t hold back during a media session with reporters on Tuesday. The 29-year-old expressed displeasure with the media and the problems caused by it.

He expressed issue with the media’s coverage, specifically citing the frequent pressure and attention directed towards him and everything he is doing. A six-time Pro Bowl receiver, Brown said he felt he had no freedom in the current times, though an argument could be made he brings much of this upon himself (here’s a great example).
Antonio Brown said he has no freedom. He can't even work out without people showing up. Hmmm, don't post it on social media where you are would be my advice. @TheAthleticPGH

He also spoke to reporters about why he skipped the team’s final eight voluntary OTA sessions.
“I needed little personal time for myself to get my mind right,” Brown said, via Joe Rutter. “The game requires a lot of mental happiness, the older you get the more you think about what is important.”
Brown said he’s starting to realize that all the time he is away from his kids and family takes a toll and downplayed the notion that he skipped OTAs because Ben Roethlisberger wasn’t there.
