Boston Celtics center Aron Baynes isn’t going to live this down any time soon. In the first half of his team’s Game 3 Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Philadelphia 76ers, the 260-pound New Zealander was put on an absolute poster by Philly All-Star center Joel Embiid.

The behind-the-back pass by Ben Simmons is what set this up. Though, Embiid absolutely obliterated Baynes in every possible way. We’re actually surprised the Celtics center and the hardwood at the Wells Fargo Center didn’t become one.
You simply don’t do this to another man. He has a family. He might have children. He has a reputation to keep. By devastating Baynes in this manner, Embiid obviously showed he has no respect for human dignity. That’s the only explanation worth considering.
