We’re not sure what sparked this, but things got so heated between Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman David Freese and the team’s third-base coach, Joey Cora, that the two had to be separated.

Obviously, losing 7-0 in a game that featured no small amount of controversy contributed to this incident. But one wonders if there’s something else going on behind the scenes, because these two men definitely had some friction between them.
