A once-promising NFL career came to a screeching halt for Isaiah Pead back in 2016 when he lost his left leg in a car accident. For his former St. Louis Rams teammates, it was a bitter pill to swallow. It also showed us how things in life can change on a dime.

It’s how you respond to life-altering events that defines you as a person. If that old adage is indeed true, Pead himself is acing the coursework of life with flying colors.

Less than two years after the accident, Pead is out here jogging with his prosthetic left leg. And it’s all sorts of amazing.

Pead had previously noted that it’s his goal to participate in the Paralympic Games. He also just recently told TMZ Sports that he expects to compete in the very same 400-event he dominated while in high school.

We obviously wouldn’t put anything past him at this point.

Pead played in the NFL from 2012-16 after being selected in the second round by the then St. Louis Rams.
