After getting embarrassed by the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 3 of their Western Conference Semifinals series, the Golden State Warriors wasted no time re-establishing their dominance in Game 4.
At halftime, the game was close, at least. Golden State took a 61-54 lead into the third quarter in New Orleans. Then they stomped on the accelerator and crushed their opponent with a 33-19 third quarter. Midway through the fourth quarter, the Warriors sported a 21-point lead, prompting Pelicans fans to leave the stadium en masse.

In the end, it was a 118-92 blowout win for the defending champs. It was an impressive, no-mercy response to getting hammered themselves in Game 3, and Twitter had some great reactions.

It’s frustrating but I’m not mad at Pels, GSW is a dynasty. After 4 games if you said it’d be like this, I’d have said pic.twitter.com/y5zh7NL05l

So the Warriors … headed home for Game 5 up 3-1 against Pelicans. Same scenario they’ve had in their past two playoff series dating back to the finals last year. Starting to look like they just throw a game on the road because they’d rather win it at home.

It’s going to take nothing less than a miracle for New Orleans to turn this series around, now down 3-1.
