The Cleveland Cavaliers needed to make a statement at home in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics Saturday evening.
Down 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, that’s exactly what Cleveland did in the first half.
LeBron James dropped 19 points. George Hill went for 13 points himself. It culminated in a 61-41 lead over the Celtics heading into halftime.
It goes without saying that Twitter had some fun with Cleveland’s first half performance. Obviously, LeBron was the main focus. But here are the best reactions from that always reactionary social media site.
LeBron James calling his own fouls like this is a pickup game. #Cavaliers

Semi Ojeleye saying to LeBron James, “C’mon, man,” and telling him to quit complaining about calls is good stuff

Cavs 112, Celts 97. The Celts are NOT the better team, not without Kyrie.
