Yanny or Laurel? Laurel or Yanny? Just what is being said in this clip has divided society like few things in our history. According to manager Ned Yost, the debate even has employees of the Kansas City Royals divided.
Talking to reporters before Wednesday’s game with the Tampa Bay Rays, Yost weighed in on the debate.
“We asked the trainers and half heard Laurel and half heard Yanny,” Yost said, H/T Chris Landers of MLB.com’s Cut4. “I don’t know, I heard Laurel 100 percent. I took it into the food room and half heard Laurel and half heard Yanny. It’s crazy.”
So, in addition to being a World Series manager, Yost is clearly a rational human being. That’s good to know.
