Chris Paul will miss Game 6 with hamstring strain

That escalated in a hurry. Just a short while after reports emerged that the hamstring injury Chris Paul suffered was not looking good, it’s being a sure thing he will miss Game 6 in the Western Conference Finals.

The Houston Rockets star has been invaluable to the team’s success this postseason. He scored 18 of his 20 total points against the Golden State Warriors in the second half during Game 5 Thursday night.

Needless to say, his unavailability for Game 6 is going to put a ton of pressure on the shoulders of James Harden.

Houston currently has a 3-2 lead over Golden State in this series. Should the Warriors tie it up at home in Game 6, then hopefully for the Rockets’ sake, Paul will be able to play in Game 7.
