On Tuesday, some rather shocking news broke in the golf world regarding the wife of PGA Tour pro Lucas Glover, who was arrested following the third round of The Player’s Championship.
Krista Glover allegedly attacked her husband and his mother, who had cuts on her arms and blood on her chest when police arrived at the scene.
Per the police report, Glover’s mother said that Krista has a history of verbally attacking him when he plays poorly during a tournament, and Glover had just come off a terrible third round, shooting 78 on Saturday to miss the final cut.
Now the 911 call Glover made to police has been released, per TMZ Sports, along with a call Krista made as well in which she claimed she had been attacked by Glover’s mother.
“I’ve been attacked by my mother-in-law,” Krista told the operator … “She’s locked herself in the room and attacked us.”
Glover told the 911 operator that his wife was lying.
“She’s trying to blame it on my mother which is not the case at all,” Lucas said … “My wife has gone crazy.”
After the operator told Glover that police were on the way, he tried to keep that from happening, saying, “”I don’t think anybody needs to come out here, thank you though.”
Police did arrive, however, and determined that Krista Glover had been the aggressor and had attacked Glover’s mother.
