The Kansas City Chiefs are going into the beer business. According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, the Chiefs have filed to trademark their own brand of beer, called “Kingdom Blonde Ale.”
Here’s a look at the logo, along with the application, which was based on an “intent to use.”
@Chiefs have apparently entered the beer market. On May 16 the organization filed a #trademark application for a brand of beer… KINGDOM BLONDE ALE.

So, one would assume, as Gerben notes there, that this beer will be available on tap at Arrowhead Stadium sometime in the near future.
It’s an interesting development, and we’re curious about which brewery might be behind this new venture, as it seems unlikely the team itself would engage in the actual brewing process.
Another interesting angle here is that the Chiefs are already partnered with Bud Light, so we’re curious to see how this new brew fits into that arrangement.
That said, “Kingdom Blonde Ale” sounds a heck of a lot tastier than Bud Light.
