Philadelphia Phillies rookie Scott Kingery appeared to have a home run in the first inning of Wednesday’s game against the Atlanta Braves. Instead, he found out why Atlanta centerfielder Ender Inciarte has won a Gold Glove in each of the last two seasons.
Inciarte went into a dead sprint for the ball, timed his jump perfectly, and robbed Kingery of a home run.

Other than tip your cap, there’s not much you can do about that one. The next time someone tries to hit a home run over Inciarte’s head, he might think about aiming at least a couple of rows deep.
