Ben Simmons is having quite the rookie season. He’s helping to lead one of the most entertaining and talented young teams in the NBA, and he’s proving to be one of the elite athletes in the Association, too.
Here’s an example that illustrates why Simmons is so much fun to watch these days. On Sunday as the Sixers took on the Charlotte Hornets, Simmons came up with a steal and finished it off with a thunderous reverse jam.

Even without Joel Embiid, who’s out the next few weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a broken orbital bone, the Sixers are a formidable opponent. Simmons’ fine play is a big reason for this.
Philly is currently just one-half game behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for the No. 3 seed in the east heading into Sunday’s games. They’re likely going to be hosting a playoff series in the first round. It doesn’t get more entertaining than that.
