Von Miller and Khalil Mack are the two best edge rushers in the NFL today, but according to the former, NFL draft prospect Bradley Chubb is the equivalent of both these superstars.
Miller said this about Chubb on Tuesday, “He’s Khalil Mack and Von Miller put together,” per James Palmer of NFL Network.
That’s the highest possible praise from the six-time Pro Bowler, especially talking about a player who has yet to step foot on an NFL field.
Chubb is widely viewed as the best pass rusher in the upcoming 2018 NFL Draft, and it’s interesting to note that Miller could end up as his teammate. Denver picks No. 5 overall, barring a trade, and if John Elway isn’t sold on a quarterback it wouldn’t be the worst idea to add Chubb to the defensive front to play opposite Miller.
Should that happen, then Miller and Chubb would instantly become the NFL’s premier pass-rushing duo, assuming the NC State product plays as well as everyone expects.
Wherever he lands, Chubb certainly has some big expectations to live up to. Everyone is raving about this young man’s game. Now all he has to do is live up to the hype. No pressure, kid.
