Golden State Warriors forward David West typically rides a bike in the tunnel as a way to stay warm when he’s not playing. But on Sunday in Game 4 of the team’s first-round series against the San Antonio Spurs, West somehow earned himself a technical while on the bike.
It was a very strange scene, and the Warriors were not happy about it.

Steph Curry telling official Tony Brothers that whatever was said from the bench that led to the technical called on David West was yelled by a fan. pic.twitter.com/9riIR55TJ3

If David West really just got a tech from the tunnel, that official should be done for the playoffs. #Warriors #Spurs #NBA

Someone please tell me how David West just got a technical from all the way by the tunnels while on a bike 😂

That was great sideline reporting from Lisa Salters. Walked over to David West on the stationary bike to get his thoughts on the tech he received 😂
