NFL legend: Dez Bryant should sign with Patriots

Dez Bryant Dallas Cowboys

Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant will be on to a new adventure once he eventually signs on with another NFL franchise. But in the meantime, several NFL players have been attempting to recruit Bryant to their teams.

With all the chatter being about where Bryant should play next, NFL legend and retired tight end Tony Gonzalez weighed in with his choice team for Bryant.

Per TMZ Sports, Gonzalez said if Bryant “wants to win a championship” he should play with the New England Patriots.

Gonzalez does speak the truth. The Patriots have winning Super Bowls nailed to a tee. And, Bryant would be smart to want to jump aboard the New England train while quarterback Tom Brady is still healthy and playing.

Though, Bryant said his desire is to face the Dallas Cowboys twice per year. This would mean Bryant would have to accept an offer from either the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins or New York Giants. The latter would pair Bryant up with Odell Beckham Jr. whom he said it would “be crazy” to play with, but another Giants receiver doesn’t see that happening.

We will see soon enough where Bryant’s path leads him. If the Patriots actually reach out, they make an offer just too good for Bryant to refuse.
