Kevin Love suffers injury in same hand he broke earlier this season

As the Cleveland Cavaliers were looking to even their first-round playoff series up against the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 on Wednesday night, All-Star forward Kevin Love suffered what appears to be a serious left hand injury.

It’s the same hand that forced the forward out for extensive action during the regular season. The play in question happened late in the fourth quarter. Here’s how it went down.

As you can see, Love jammed his left thumb in an attempt to play defense. It certainly didn’t look good. Love was immediately removed from the game and was seen getting his hand taped up on the bench during the final minutes of fourth quarter action.

There will definitely be updates from Cleveland following the game.
