On Saturday night, Providence head basketball coach Ed Cooley had everyone wondering what was up with his Gatorade sweat towel pants cape. For much of the contest, the coach had a couple of those towels tucked into the back of his pants and hanging over his backside.

After the game, which Providence lost to Villanova, 76-66, Cooley let reporters in on his secret — he was protecting us all from seeing just how breezy things were down there.
Just got the transcript of the Big East presser with Ed Cooley, who was asked (among many things) about his pants. Cooley: "When I sat down I felt the great breeze in the crack. (Laughter) my pants ripped."

We’ve all been there before, coach.
Somehow, we’re betting this won’t become a new fashion trend, especially since the Friars couldn’t pull off the win Saturday night.
