Nevada and Chicago-Loyola are both very big stories heading into the Sweet 16, but they also both feature some non-basketball characters — Sister Jean and Mariah Musselman — that have become the stars of the NCAA Tournament.
For Loyola, Sister Jean has become an overnight, international sensation — nobody was talked about more on Twitter than this 98-year-old nun and team chaplain. Mariah Musselman, the eight-year-old daughter of Nevada head coach Eric Musselman, has been charming the heck out of folks for her interviewing skills.

The two superstars will come together for a special pre-game interview on CBS Thursday ahead of the Sweet 16 game between the two schools.
According to Siobhan McAndrew and Chris Murray of the Reno Gazette-Journal, Mariah will start by asking Sister Jean, “”Why do you like being a nun?”
It should be fantastic, but we’re betting Mariah will be dealing with a case of the butterflies.
“I get very emotional during the games. It’s really hard for me to watch,” She said. “Sometimes I don’t even watch, but I put my wolf up because the wolf is lucky,” she said demonstrating the hand symbol with her pointer finger and pinky pointing up.”Every time I put the wolf up they’ve made it.”
