Dwight Howard suspended one game after earning 16th technical

One day after Dwight Howard put together a historic performance against the Brooklyn Nets, he’s been suspended one game by the NBA. This is an automatic suspension after Howard earned his 16th technical foul during the game Wednesday night.

This means Howard will be unavailable to the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday evening when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.

Howard has played in 72 games for Charlotte this year, putting together a somewhat resurgent season averaging 16.6 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game after a very frustrating 2016-17 campaign with the Atlanta Hawks.
