With one single tweet about Saquon Barkley, the folks at NFL research managed to tick off a couple of guys who dominated in the NFL at a high level for quite some time.

– Stronger than Joe Thomas
– Quicker than DeSean Jackson
– Faster than Devin Hester

Both Devin Hester and Julio Jones had some interesting responses to this tweet.

We know that NFL players, like all professional athletes, are extremely competitive. We also know both Hester and Jones are freak athletes of the highest order, so it’s easy to understand why they’d take a bit of umbrage at the way Barkley’s combine performance (which was absolutely ridiculous) was used against them.
But anyone who downplays what Barkley does and is really serious about it needs a wake-up call. This kid is unreal, and he’s got a real chance to be the first player taken in the upcoming draft, according to some NFL insiders.
