Alabama’s women’s basketball team defeated UCF in the NIT on Sunday. Following the win, Crimson Tide Athletic director Greg Byrne took to Twitter and had some fun at UCF’s expense.

This isn’t just random trash talk.
For those who may not remember, the UCF finished the college football season undefeated. But outside of the state of Florida (specifically the campus), the Crimson Tide — not the Knights — are recognized as national champs. Despite that, the UCF team enjoyed a nice victory tour after the season.
All things considered, it was some solid shade from Mr. Byrne.
