Fergie’s version of the national anthem at the NBA All-Star Game is drawing anything but rave reviews. In light of that, the Rochester Red Wings, the Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, are having some fun.
The Red Wings will open up their 2018 season at home against the Buffalo Bison. It is presently unknown who will sing the Star-Spangled Banner. We do, however, know who won’t be singing it.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Fergie will NOT be singing the National Anthem on Opening Day. Performer still TBD.

Glad that’s clarified.
Fergie was not the only performer whose pre-game performance was panned. But there seems to be a consensus that her performance was awful. Even Roseanne Barr — another noted terrible anthem singer — chimed in.
Who saw Fergie's national anthem performance at the NBA All Star Game? I think mine was better lowkey

We’re guessing that other pro sports teams will join Rochester.
