The Kirk Cousins sweepstakes is going to be the craziest part of NFL free agency next month, but at least one of his teammates in Washington has a strong feeling Cousins will end up playing for the Denver Broncos.

This lines up with what Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported right before this interview, which is that Denver is a “legitimate, real suitor” for Cousins in free agency.
It also lines up with my own prediction, which is that John Elway will convince Cousins, like he convinced Peyton Manning before him, that his best chance to win is in Denver.
The Broncos are going to have their work cut out, however, to land Cousins. The New York Jets are reportedly considering a fully-guaranteed offer for the quarterback, who would have a great chance to resurrect that proud franchise and stay on the east coast where he’s made his home in recent years.
If Cousins does choose Denver, we know of at least one Broncos superstar who will be doing backflips of joy about the decision.
