Broncos LT Garett Bolles to be honored by National Center for Learning Disabilities

Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles is known for being a big, tough guy on the gridiron, and for being the dad of the cutest baby on the red carpet last April at the 2017 NFL Draft.

Perhaps one thing that many don’t know about the young man, however, is that he had a rough childhood, which was partly due to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). He grew up in an environment rife with drugs, alcohol and gang activity, and he was kicked out of his house by his father.

Thankfully, Bolles has overcome all that as a young adult, which includes learning to thrive while dealing with ADHD. As a result of his perseverance, Bolles is going to be honored by the National Center for Learning Disabilities in New York City next Monday, per Mike Klis of 9News in Denver.

Drafted No. 20 overall by Denver last year out of Utah, Bolles lived up to his promise, starting all 16 games for the Broncos last year.
