Fergie took a heavy dose of criticism following her unique rendition of the national anthem at the 2018 NBA All-Star Game, but a Milwaukee Brewers affiliate believes in second chances.
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox extended an invitation to Fergie, offering an opportunity to attend upcoming auditions.

“Although your ‘jazzy’ National Anthem rendition was not exactly a ‘hit single,’ or even a ‘bunt single,’ we understand that you’re an artist, took a risk and deserve another shot in the spotlight,” the Sky Sox said in their pitch.
Minor league teams thrive on promotion, and the Sky Sox took advantage of a perfect opportunity to garner a little attention.
While we’re unsure if Fergie will accept the invitation, we do know she won’t be singing the anthem for the Rochester Red Wings.
