UCLA’s Josh Rosen declares for the 2018 NFL Draft

Josh Rosen

This has pretty much been a foregone conclusion since Josh Rosen assumed the UCLA starting duties as a freshman back in 2015.

Rosen announced on his personal Twitter account Wednesday that he will forgo his senior season with the Bruins and declare for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Rosen is expected to be a top-five pick in what promises to be a quarterback-heavy draft at the top.

With Cleveland boasting the first pick in this year’s draft, Rosen will be mentioned with USC’s Sam Darnold as the potential top pick. Darnold himself also announced on Wednesday that he’s entering the 2018 NFL Draft. With the No. 2 pick in the draft, the New York Giants are also a possibility for Rosen.

Rosen had pretty much made his intentions clear about leaving college after this season. His comments regarding the actual academics of amateur athletics magnified this even further.

Rosen finishes up his career with the Bruins having thrown for 9,301 yards with 59 touchdowns compared to 26 interceptions.
