Stephen Curry ruled out Friday against Bucks with ankle injury

Stephen Curry

After suffering a freak ankle injury in practice this week, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will miss Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Warriors announced Curry would be out Friday night, along with some other injury updates.

Curry just can’t seem to catch a break these days with his ankles. He missed most of December after suffering an injury at the beginning of that month and only just got back into action recently. When he’s healthy, there’s nobody on the face of the Earth who can stroke threes like this guy — he was red hot after returning from his December injury, averaging 35.2 points per game.

Golden State has done fine without Curry, but the Warriors will need him to be healthy for their stretch run into the playoffs. Currently, they hold a three-game lead over the Houston Rockets for first place in the Western Conference.
