The Minnesota Vikings entered Sunday’s NFC Championship Game riding the high of a late-game miracle win over the New Orleans Saints last weekend.
It didn’t take too long for the Vikings themselves to sober up in Philadelphia. The team found itself down 24-7 at the half before two more Eagles scores made it 38-7 early in the fourth quarter.
To say that this game didn’t necessarily go too swimmingly for the Vikings would be an understatement. And Saints receiver Michael Thomas let them know about it in a big way on Twitter.

That’s a whole lot of burn from a man that didn’t even make it to the NFC Championship Game.
Some might conclude that the Saints would have put up a better fight against Philadelphia Sunday evening. That might be true. But one of Thomas’ teammates with the Saints made sure this wouldn’t come to fruition.
As it is, the Vikings will once again fall short of the Super Bowl after yet another disheartening postseason exit. Thomas made sure they wouldn’t soon forget about it.
