Report: Pistons have made Avery Bradley available for trade

The Detroit Pistons will likely be active at the trade deadline, and shooting guard Avery Bradley could be the marquee playing leaving the team.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Detroit has made Bradley available in trade talks and the asking price is “significant.”

Wojnarowski adds Bradley’s impending unrestricted free agency has influenced the flailing Pistons to seek a return before losing him for nothing this summer.

Bradley is averaging 15.0 points, but he’s been a disaster shooting the ball since December. Over the last 20 appearances, he’s connected on just 32.7 percent from three-point range and 36.8 overall. Bradley also missed seven games due to injury near the end of 2017.

Meanwhile, the Pistons have tumbled outside the playoff picture. They hold a 22-26 record and trail the Philadelphia 76ers by three games for the No. 8 seed in the East.

Detroit has more reason to trade Bradley, a menacing three-and-D player at his best, for a small return than to watch him walk in free agency.
